A Sluggish Houseguest

I found this little guy (Lehmannia valentiana) in my kitchen last night. Don't know how he got there. Either he hitched a ride on me or Katie, or Katie picked him up and brought him in. At any rate, he was scared and secreting slime all over the place.

I wrapped him up in a napkin and set him in the yard. He clung tenaciously to this napkin, refusing to crawl onto the grass. 

This was taken after I put him on one of the porch steps. He didn't move from this spot for quite some time.
