Mating Slugs: Withdrawal - Type 2

Type 2 withdrawal in Lehmannia valentiana consists of the same behavior as Type 1, only instead of complete separation, the slug that is left behind follows the other a little ways, sometimes nibbling at its tail or its mucus trail, before turning back to eat the mucus left over after copulation. In this instance the slug that initiated separation may stay a short distance away, not entirely out of view.
