Moth With a Fancy Headdress

I encountered this specimen while out "slugging" one night and I couldn't resist photographing it. The eyes show up pink in some shots but that's due to the flash. They're actually black or gray. Notice how furry the (labial?) palps are. If anyone can identify the species, please let me know.
