The final two eggs (
Lehmannia valentiana) in my experimental tub hatched last night and today, so I've dumped all the dirt out of it, replaced the stepping-stone, and will be monitoring the outside eggs from now on. In all, 5 slugs hatched successfully from the eggs in the tub. Here are some photos of the last two, both of which were not far from their eggs when I found them:

I was sad to empty the tub, as I enjoyed monitoring it, but it's already served its purpose (to help me identify the species of slug that laid the eggs), so there's really no point in putting more eggs in. However, I'm excited to watch the eggs outside now.
