A New Web Makes All the Difference

Shortly after I photographed a Bowl and Doily Weaver (Frontinella communis, or F. pyramitela), she built a new web near the old one, which was getting pretty ragged. Since then, she's built at least one more web, and I suppose she'll keep doing so every time hers gets too dirty. Here are some shots of the new (more bowl-like) webs. As you can see, her diet consists mostly of green leafhoppers.
