This little plant bug gets his common name from the "kink" in his back. A member of the subfamily Mirinae, tribe Mirini, his scientific name is Taylorilygus apicalis. Commonly found on sunflowers, he's not a pest to crops. This guy was feeding on weeds: you can see his proboscis in some of the photos.
