Mating Versute Sharpshooters

We have so many Versute Sharpshooters (Graphocephala versuta) in our yard! In numbers they might exceed the Japanese Leafhoppers (Orientus ishidae). They're shy insects, though, so getting a photo can be tricky. Lately I've come across several mating pairs. It's funny, just like Ground Beetles and Boxelder Bugs, when startled one of the partners will actually crawl away, dragging the other behind it! As usual, I found these specimens on sunflower (Helianthus annuus). It's also common to find them on Yellow Bell leaves.
