Spiderpalooza!

My mom had to remove a solar lantern to mow the grass up on the cross-tie area in our backyard, and when I visited the site that night, this is what I found:


Yep, those are little spiderlings. They'd just hatched from their egg sac and were in the process of dispersing. They spun dozens of lines from the cross-ties to the lantern, where they gathered perhaps to partake of the smorgasbord of insects attracted to the light. I'm guessing they might be offspring of a Sac Spider (Elaver sp.), but I'm not sure.
