Slug Eggs: Clutch #1

While making the rounds yesterday, I was overjoyed to have discovered a clutch of eggs, laid by Lehmannia valentiana, the species of slug that I've been studying for a while now.

I didn't even notice the eggs until I analyzed the photos on my computer. They're so small and clear in the sunlight that it's easy to miss them if you're not looking for eggs.
You see there's another small group near the slug's tail. I don't know whether these all belong to the same clutch or to two separate ones, so I'm just grouping them together for now.
Unfortunately they've become more scattered since yesterday and are no longer in that nice, neat pile:

Fortunately none of the eggs appears to be damaged. Scattering is bound to happen when lifting up the covering. I will keep checking them daily to see when and if they hatch.
