I encountered a second baby albino (Lehmannia valentiana) tonight! I can distinguish him from the other one I found a few weeks ago because he's the size of a new hatchling, whereas the former should be quite big by now. I'm excited to see this other albino slug and to know that we'll have at least 2 more in our population. I haven't seen the adult recently so I'm not sure if he survived the cold. I'll have to watch for the older juvenile as well.
This little guy is probably about 1 cm long, the normal size for a hatchling. Isn't he cute? If you look closely you can see his tiny red eye-spots.
