While I was sitting with
Baby, this older toad decided to keep an eye on me, but it found the mud so cool and refreshing it spread its legs out. We "bonded."
I spotted either this toad or another member of the family on the cross-ties one night, leaning over the side as if about to pounce!

Stay tuned for more toad pictures! We have at least four permanent residents. Lately I've found an adult and juvenile huddled underneath the "ramp" which also covers the
"slug hotel".
