Drowned Cicada Nymph

Normally, cicada nymphs emerge from their holes, climb onto a tree or other surface, attach themselves to it, and molt into adults, leaving their dry exoskeletons behind. Due to the severe rainstorm we had, however, this one didn't survive. Either he was flushed out of the hole prematurely, or he crawled out only to drown in the flood. The body was gone by morning, so he must have made a tasty meal for someone.
