Variations on a Theme: Ball's Sharpshooters

A grass-feeder, Draeculacephala balli is a green sharpshooter with two tiny black markings at the base of the large, triangular head and two more on the thorax between the elytra. The venter is brown, and the "nose" has a yellow tip.

A similar species is Draeculacephala antica, which is a paler shade of green and large-headed but lacks the black markings of D. balli. The venter is reddish-brown, and the "nose" has a yellow tip.
