Giant Wolf Spider

On my way to throw something out in the trash in the garage, I met a large Wolf Spider, probably Hogna lenta or carolinensis, stretched out on the floor, poised for action. I think my presence startled her. No doubt she was hunting cockroaches and crickets (and perhaps other spiders) in the garage.
